An NHS Consultant psychiatrist who has many years’ experience preparing medicolegal reports.
Old Age Psychiatrist with a wealth of experience in the management of mental health disorders with a special interest in mental capacity.
Dr Hagger is a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is dual trained in both older adults and younger adults’ psychiatry and has specialist expertise in liaison psychiatry. He is also a Section 12 accredited doctor.
Dr Hagger
has been a full time NHS Consultant in Liaison Psychiatry at the Royal Free Hospital for four years, specialising in Old Age psychiatry.
He has many years’ experience preparing medicolegal reports concerning standards of care in mental health services and causation of acute confusion.
Dr Hagger frequently undertakes mental capacity assessments including assessment of testamentary capacity both for instructing solicitors and in his day to day NHS work.
He has extensive experience of assessing and managing a range of mental health conditions within the NHS as well as working within the legal frameworks of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
